Dick Fowkes wins Lifetime Achievement OSCA!

Plumtree’s long-serving groundsman Dick Fowkes was recently awarded a Lifetime Achievement OSCA by England’s Jimmy Anderson and Matt Prior at a ceremony at Lord’s. He was nominated by his club Kegworth Town with whom he has been involved for more than 50 years.

SNCL Presentation Evening

It’s been a great season and we have the chance to celebrate winning of the Division A & K titles at the South Notts Cricket League presentation evening on Friday 11th November at Cotgrave Miners Welfare. You’ll need a ticket and these cost £14 per head – the evening starts at 7.00 pm with dinner being served around 8.15 pm.

2012 Premier League Fixtures Published

The club has received the schedule of fixtures for our return to the Premier League in 2012 and you can see a full copy of these by clicking here.
We kick off on Saturday 21st April 2012 with a home fixture against Welbeck Colliery and conclude on September 8th against Clifton, also at the PCG. We also have home fixtures on the Bank Holiday, this year on 4th June due to the celebration of the Queen’s Jubilee when we play Wollaton and the Saturday of the August Bank Holiday weekend; we play Mansfield Hosiery Mills at the PCG on Saturday 25th August.
These fixtures will shortly be uploaded onto the club’s Play Cricket website.
2011 Annual General Meeting

Make a note in your diary! The club’s Annual General Meeting takes place on Monday 7th November 2011 at the clubhouse, starting at 7.30 pm prompt.

Two items on the agenda need prior notification to Secretary Ken Bloor if you would like them to be considered at the meeting; if you would like to nominate someone for the Clubman of the Year Award, please do so in writing to Ken. Additionally, if there are any matters that you wish to discuss under Any Other Business, please also advise Ken in writing before the meeting.
This is annual opportunity for club members to influence the way the club is administered and by whom and we urge all club members to attend.
