July 23, 2010
The four teams that will make up the Nottinghamshire Premier League’s Twenty20 finals day are now known – Clifton will play West Indian Cavaliers in the first semi final, followed by Cuckney taking on Rolls Royce Leisure in the second. Both games and the final will take place on Friday 13th August at Trent Bridge – Nottinghamshire is the only county in the country to have the honour of playings its final on a first class or Test Match ground.
The first semi final kicks off at 10.30 am, the second at 2.00 pm and the final at 5.00 pm and this will be played partly under floodlights; entrance is free to all and there will be a bar and refreshments available. The success of this day and whether it can be repeated will to some extent depend on how well it is supported so come and along and join in the fun.
