Tickets for the annual dinner dance are being snapped up so make sure that you reserve yours! This year’s event will be held on Saturday 3 March, starting at 7.00 pm for 7.30 pm. As with previous events, it will be held at the Carriage Hall at Perkins Restaurant in Plumtree and tickets are £40 per head and you can arrange a table upon request.
Dress is black tie/evening dress and the ticket price includes a drinks reception, 3 course dinner and dancing till late to the Night Train Disco; carriages will be at 1.00 am.

Alex Tudor Cricket Camp, 13-17 February

Former Essex, Surrey and England all-rounder Alex Tudor will be holding a cricket coaching camp during the February half-term holidays (13th to 17th February) at the Carlton-le-Willows Academy in Gedling. Alex and professional coaches will be teaching the children, aged 7 years to 14 years, all aspects of cricket from batting, bowling, fielding, tactical awareness and healthy eating lifestyle. These skills the children will be learning will be used throughout the week and incorporated into cricket games and competitions along with visits from Professional Cricketers to assist in the training, competitions and award handouts.
The costs for the camp are:
- Monday to Friday (all five days) – £100 per child
- Any three days – £65
- Any two days – £43

Under 10s & Under 11s Collect Their Trophies

Plumtree’s barn-storming colts teams recently paid a visit to Trent Bridge to collect their league winning trophies for the 2011 season; the awards were presented to the boys by Nottinghamshire star Steven Mullaney. Well done lads!
