Former Plumtree Overseas Player Jake Haberfield
Former Plumtree overseas player Jake Haberfield has been rewarded for a couple of excellent seasons for South Australia by being selected for the Australia A One Day side that will be playing Sri Lanka A in three ODIs and a T20 in the Winter series down-under. Jake played for Plumtree in the Premier League in 2008 and was a considerable success taking 42 wickets.
Chairman Mark Oldham commented “Everyone at Plumtree has been watching Jake’s career with great interest and we are all delighted that his efforts with South Australia have been recognised. We are thrilled for him.
“Jake was an outstanding overseas player for Plumtree, making terrific contributions both on and off the field and we all suspected that he would reach great heights. We are delighted for the guy and wish him continuing success”.
