Jake’s Progress

February 13, 2010

Former Plumtree favourite Jake Haberfield is continuing to develop his highly-promising first class career with South Australia.  The 2008 professional recently starred in the SA win over Western Australia at the world-famous WACA ground with the ball and, perhaps more surprisingly, with the bat.

He registered career-best match figures of 6-127 taking three wickets in each innings including those of international players Marcus North, Luke Pomersbach and Nottinghamshire’s Adam Voges twice.  He even scored the winning runs.

Jake’s mates at Plumtree continue to watch career with great interest and everyone is hoping he gets selected for the South Australia game versus the England tourists during this winter’s Ashes tour.
