Notts’ Matt Wood to Coach Plumtree

January 11, 2010

Plumtree is delighted to announce that Matt Wood is to coach the club’s players throughout the 2010 season; the Nottinghamshire opener will renew his relationship with the club which started last year when he played for the 1st XI in the Nottinghamshire Premier League.  Matt is close to achieving Level 4 coaching status which is the highest achievable.

“Plumtree is one of those cricket clubs that you get involved with and then find it very hard to leave.  The surroundings are idyllic and it’s a picture perfect village cricket club with a great atmosphere” said Matt.

He will be joining the players at winter nets and throughout the season when his commitments with Nottinghamshire allow.
