Christmas Raffle & Winter Century Club Draw

On a very cold night last week, the club got together for it’s last social event of the year, the annual end of year raffle and Century Club Draw. The Plough Inn at Normanton was packed and the table groaning with goodies in anticipation of a great evening. Club Hon Sec Ken Bloor was master of ceremonies and presided over a draw containing more than 50 prizes donated generous club members and supporters.
A full list of winners is attached and the club would like to thank all those who kindly contributed to the success of this annual fundraising effort, either by donating prizes or selling tickets. Particular thanks should also go to Brian Walls who yet again made all the arrangements for the event to go ahead.
John Stuckey was also present to supervise the final draw of the Century Club for 2009; thanks should also go to John for his continuing and outstanding efforts in organising these events. The lucky winners this time around were:

£15 – Jo Widdowson
It was a suitably warming and festive event to close the club’s year and we all look forward to 2010 and all the cricket and fun that it will bring.
