AGM Decisions in Brief

October 27, 2009

The Annual General Meeting was held in the Club House on Monday 26th October; a full report will be published on this site shortly but key headlines from the meeting were:

  • Stewart Hague confirmed as new club President after Jerry Rotton completed his two year stint.
  • Club Captain Darren Wright steps down after four years and club stalwart Scott Bailey agrees to take on the role, supported by Ben Thompson as his vice captain.
  • Exciting new club house development plans were outlined by Head of Development Adrian Kerrison that will totally refresh the pavilion’s social spaces.
  • Jim Rayner & Ian Smith were announced as joint winners of Iris Hesmondhalgh ‘Plumtree’ Trophy as Club Men of The Year; Jim for outstanding efforts and time committed to the whole scope of junior cricket and Ian for messing about with the website.
