Club member Bobby Gamble had some great news this week when he learnt he had been selected to join the Nottinghamshire CCC Academy for 2010; as a member of the 2009 Emerging Players Programme (EPP), Bobby has played in a number of games for the Academy side currently heading the Bassetlaw League table.

The club was delighted to welcome local MP and sports fan the Rt. Hon. Kenneth Clarke MP a couple of weeks ago to watch our 1st XI victory over Kimberley; Mr Clarke arrived mid afternoon and stayed for a couple of hours, enjoying some refreshments from the bar and some competitive cricket.  Mr Clarke commented [...]

For the first time this season, all five senior sides won last weekend with some outstanding individual and team performances; full details can be found on the ‘Results’ page but two performances in the Sunday 2nd XI deserve further recognition.
