Notts teams pay respects to league stalwart
June 17, 2009
It was with great sadness that we learnt of the death last week of ECB Nottinghamshire Premier League Chairman Trevor Wilson; Trevor had battled illness for some time but maintained his valuable input into the league that he was instrumental in forming.
In line with all Premier League clubs, the 1st XI held a minutes silence with their opponents Clifton at last week’s game in tribute to Trevor and his dedication to recreational cricket in the county. Plumtree, like all Premier League clubs, has benefited tremendously from his work behind the scenes to provide the framework for competitive cricket played in the right spirit and the club, it’s officers and members would like to pass on condolences to Trevor’s family for their loss.
